Welcome to punkcoder.com.

These days everyone has a website, but it's usually just a blog. That's how punkcoder started too. Since I am a developer I decided to jump into the blogging world and make an occasional blog posting about something I was currently working on, or maybe the answer to some issue I had run into. I would also occasionally write a post about the latest punk music I was listening to, hoping to expose others to something I enjoy.

After doing this for a while I decided to broaden the scope a little so that my non-technical friends could have a central place to see what is going on in my life. I'm not big on communication, don't e-mail or phone anyone all that often, so my blog was a window into what was happening with me. I would still post the occasional technical post, but those were limited to my latest gripe about Microsoft or my latest praise about Apple.

Now I've decided to broaden the scope of punkcoder.com again. I do have a life away from being a developer at work or just sitting in front of my computer at home. I enjoy traveling, taking photos, drawing, reading, music, video games, and hanging out with my friends. I figured it was time to expand punkcoder.com beyond the two pages it used to be. I'll still have a blog, but I'm planning on adding much more to this site.
